Story

Xavier lost his entire family in a massacre and spent a decade at a Taoist temple training for the day he could find out who ordered it. His master sends him down the mountain with one task: protect Whitney, a woman from the Wen family, without telling her why. He takes a job at her side and plays the quiet, harmless assistant.

Whitney's world is a nest of Wen family betrayals, and the An family circling from outside wants blood. Every threat aimed at her pulls Xavier closer to the people who destroyed his own household.
