  • Deeply deserved comeuppance when a shallow wife discovers her fashionable intern cannot manage an empire.

Story

Frederick poured five dedicated years into expanding his wife's family conglomerate into a market leader, sacrificing his own health in the process. Discharged from the hospital following intensive spinal surgery, he enters his corner suite only to find his wife reassigning his desk and personal belongings to a flirtatious intern.

Confronted with her dismissive cruelty, Frederick suppresses his pain and stops pleading for her affection. Quietly liquidating his personal shares and relocating his international patents, he prepares to depart the country with his young son, leaving his narcissistic spouse to watch the company collapse without its real architect.
