Story

Elias loses his sister Hailey soon after she marries Alaric, the wolf clan's leader, and her death is written off as an accident. He doesn't believe it. He crosses into wolf territory alone, posing as a servant, to find out what really happened to her.

Alaric, cold and absolute, keeps Elias close as his personal attendant, and neither man can explain the pull between them. Their attraction grows while Elder Balor's people watch them both. When Melinda forces Elias off a cliff, Alaric jumps after him, and the two start piecing together who tore up Hailey's diary and why humans keep vanishing inside Balor's manor. Elias takes a poisoned arrow meant for Alaric, and Alaric gives up half his bloodline to bring him back.
