Story

Adler, the scholarly leader of the Magic Guild, catches his aristocratic wife in bed with a nobleman, bringing a definitive end to their loveless contract marriage. Releasing years of repressed desires, he visits a tavern and shares an uninhibited night with an imposing, charismatic warrior before fleeing at sunrise. Adler resolves to forget the encounter, only for the domineering stranger to pursue him with relentless romantic intent across the capital.

Adler soon discovers his aggressive suitor is Liberal, the legendary Imperial Dragon Knight Commander returned from frontier wars. Even more startling, Liberal is the armored knight who saved Adler from mythical beasts eight years earlier and has searched for him ever since. At a grand imperial banquet, Liberal stands by Adler, shocking the cheating ex-wife and high-society nobles.
