After an elite pro scout quietly selects him as the league's top draft pick, mandatory sequestered conditioning cuts off his phone for four weeks. Convinced he landed behind bars, his predatory relatives whip the local congregation into a frenzy, raiding his home and brutalizing his mother.

Malik steps into the spotlight as an overnight superstar, forcing his treacherous extended clan to choke on their vicious rumors.
