Story

Selena wakes inside a werewolf novel as a baby destined to die young — dumped into the immortal Huo household as a charity case beside their precious adopted daughter Cathy. Only problem: her daddy and four brothers can hear every word she thinks, and her thoughts keep spoiling the plot.

So she talks. She warns them about Cathy's schemes, names the organization quietly running werewolf experiments, and nudges Mr. and Mrs. Huo back toward each other while she's at it. Every warning she drops buys the family another day — and drags her closer to the truth about who she actually is.
