Story

Samantha flies home after years abroad, and her son Jonathan has arranged for his girlfriend Louisa to collect her from the airport. He has also prepared a special reagent as a welcome surprise. In the pickup lane, an accident shatters the vial, and Louisa and her brother react by attacking the woman standing there. Zion joins in, landing his own blows without asking a single question.

The three of them keep humiliating Samantha in public until Jonathan finally arrives and sees the scene for what it is. His fury lands on the people he brought into his mother's life, but the damage is already done and everyone involved has to live inside it. What follows is the slow, ugly work of a family deciding who actually belongs in it.
