Story

Samantha walks into her wedding expecting a fresh start. Instead she finds her new husband tangled in a scheme cooked up by his relatives, all of them circling her dowry like vultures. Then she learns her own parents are in on it too. The betrayal cuts twice as deep because it comes from both sides of the aisle.

What nobody knows is that Samantha is the heir to the Gambling God, trained in exactly the kind of high-stakes deception her family is trying to run on her. She decides to play their game and raise the bet. When the man who killed her master resurfaces, the table turns deadly serious, and Samantha has to wager everything she has left — her marriage, her fortune, and her life — on a single final hand.
