Story

Irene is a mercenary who left that life behind until her twin sister Freya is driven to suicide by a cheating husband and his mistress. Irene buries her sister, puts on Freya's face, and returns to the plantation as the wife everyone thought was broken.

She doesn't confront anyone. She takes the company apart from the inside, strips her brother-in-law Theodore of every asset, and lets him believe he's still in control until there's nothing left to control. With Freya's help — the sister who isn't as gone as everyone assumes — Irene pulls the thread on Theodore's wider conspiracy.
