Story

Grace was an ordinary, introverted office worker when the outbreak hit. Terrified of a painful death, she let herself get bitten on purpose — and woke up fully conscious. No hunger, no urge to hunt, no need to sleep. Just her old memories and a camera she never got to use.

So she starts walking. Across the country, one dead city at a time, she dodges human hunt squads and leaves quiet gifts for survivors: music to pull the horde away, medical supplies on a doorstep, a mother and child pulled from a collapsing building. A mute red-eyed zombie boy named Noah falls in with her, then his lost little sister. When a research team wants her blood for a repellent, Grace has to decide what her strange half-life is actually for.
