Story

Delilah signs a degrading marriage contract to finance lifesaving surgery for the orphanage matron who raised her, spending a decade nursing Benjamin Vance through illness and raising their child. Just as she believes they have built a real partnership, Benjamin's old flame returns, and he abruptly discards Delilah like a worn servant. Recognizing that ten years of loyalty bought only contempt, Delilah leaves everything behind to pursue classical music abroad.

Through sheer dedication, Delilah rises to international acclaim as an orchestral virtuoso and finds true respect alongside Weston, an attentive patron who offers unconditional love. When Benjamin loses his wealth to his scheming lover and crawls to Delilah's dressing room begging for reunion, Delilah offers polite charity before closing the door forever.
