Story

Twelve years ago, Julia risked her life to rescue kidnapped heir Arthur, only for him to mistakenly credit another woman as his childhood savior. When Arthur suffered organ failure years later, Julia quietly donated her kidney to keep him alive, prompting a grateful marriage proposal. Yet their domestic harmony shatters when the fraudulent first love returns, prompting Arthur and their alienated young son to treat Julia like an expendable housekeeper.

Recognizing that neither sacrificial love nor shared organs could buy authentic respect, Julia files for divorce and reclaims her independent architectural career. As Julia rises to international acclaim and attracts the attention of a devoted corporate titan, Arthur discovers the surgical donor records proving who truly saved his life. Consumed by devastating regret, Arthur crawls back too late.
